Types of Police Record Checks
For YOUTH only (under 18 years of age) working or volunteering with a recognized Canadian municipal, provincial or federal government (except City of Toronto Parks, Forestry & Recreation).
There are three types of police record checks (CRC, CRJMC and VS). The nature and the responsibilities of the position you are applying for will determine which type of check you will require. In all cases you should consult with the agency, organization or employer that requires you to obtain a police record check to determine which one you need.
The estimated response time for applications is 7 - 10 business days but may fluctuate due to volume and time of year.
